Freddy O. Fjellheim (1957–) made his début in 1983 with 1. Olsen's Book. Fjellheim's entire authorship is characterised by its constant experimentation of literary expressions and integration of forms and genres. The central points of his poetry, prose and factual prose are always changing, and the genres are integrated into the process, in which the readers' alertness is the objective. In this way you can read about themes in Fjellheim's books that aren't usually dealt with in one and the same book. Fjellheim's authorship often explores Norway's new found wealth. He enjoys throwing a critical light on the impact this new wealth is having on Norwegian society.
