Besieged is the seventh book in the historical drama series Promises in the Sand by Elisabeth Hammer.

Amalie and Mr. Wickfall have finally found security in their love for each other and are enjoying life as husband and wife. But external forces threaten their happiness. In the late summer of 1807, the British besiege Copenhagen. They intend to attack the city unless the Dano-Norwegian realm hands over all the ships in its grand fleet.
