Ellinor lives in the forest with mum, dad, and her triplet brothers. One day Ellinor finds an egg in the forest which turns out to have a small dragon inside. Ellinor is extremely excited about her discovery and brings the dragon home. Mum and dad are completely exhausted from several nights awake with the triplets and think they are imagining things—dragons don’t exist after all. The parents continue their day-to-day as usual, which gives Ellinor time to get to know her dragon better. She names it Eldar. Ellinor doesn’t know much about dragons, but she has heard they can fly. But how can she, a human child, teach a dragon to use its wings? What do dragons even eat? And where did Eldar come from? Are there more dragons in the forest?
