The main character in Endetid is a priest. When his only daughter is raped and killed, at first he finds little comfort and help in the faith and the hope he has given to others.
When the perpetrator flees into hiding in his homeland, the father is provoked by the powerlessness and passivity of the police and the authorities. This eventually leads him to defy the lack of extradition agreements and to take it upon himself to punish the crime which has been committed against his daughter.
'A good, powerful and memorable novel.'
