Talking Shop (Fagprat) is a cartoon for connoisseurs appearing daily in the Norwegian tabloid, Dagbladet. Strange creatures meet and discuss everything under the sun. There are no permanent fixtures in Jargon. Instead there is a new situation and new characters every time.
Talking Shop won the SPOING award for best collection in 2011.
THE KING OF NONSENSE
"A surreal and well composed handbook about everything from family life to getting high. ...Hartberg revitalizes the Norwegian stripes, and brings a pick me up to a medium that had become complacent. A perfect example of comic strip art."
"Every panel is a liberating freak show, where it´s beings seems to be captured in the absurd illustration, trying to explain their situation in comical overly eager seriousness. ... No matter what, Flu Hartberg breaks the conformity of the comic strip format into dirt. That is why Talking Shop is just as much a sick as a fresh breath of air."
