From the History of Hope is a history book in the shape of a poem, where hope is sees as a deciding power, as important as all the gloomy actions that take place. For even under difficult circumstances there is hope. Hope is an exchange, recognition, of a united destiny. But also outside the extrasensory, in the vision: to see beyond what is right in front of you, hear more than what is just around you. In the poetry of Hanne Bramness she brings the fragments from the history of hope to life, in the here and now.
