Overview Hønsestrikk til folket

Hønsestrikk is a concept which came to light in the 1970s in Denmark, translating literally as Chicken knit. It involved Learning to knit by creating your own boards and putting together patterns which told a story, made a statement or showed what the makers
liked to do or what made them happy.

The authors of this book took their inspiration from this time and added their own twist.

In this book you will find big and small projects for both children and adults with different difficultly levels. It is easy to see how you are progressing, because you complete one pattern knitting board at a time. When engaging in Hønsestrikk, you use the wool like coloured pens. This means you can choose the colours and patterns and combine them as you wish or as per the wool you have. If you make a mistake along the way it's no big deal, you just have to change the project so it works.
