Overview Hvem var Alfred Nobel?

First book in a brand-new, fully illustrated series of biographies!

Alfred Nobel was an inventor. He patented 355 inventions, big and small, throughout his life, the most famous of which was dynamite. But Alfred also invented something completely different: a peace prize! Today, it is the most important peace prize in the world. It is rather strange that the very same man who invented weapons spent his whole life wanting so badly to be of service to others.

This biography of Alfred Nobel is an easy-to-read book filled with inventions, loud bangs, humor, and tenderness. It is a story showing that even if life doesn’t always turn out as planned, it can still turn out beautifully. A fully illustrated and accessible book about a fascinating person.
