In all colours is a funny, unpleasant and surprising novel.
It is dark when art teacher Malvin Pettersen drives home to the village from an art exhibition in the city. While driving he spots something big hanging over the railings by the road. It is not an animal killed by a car. It is one of Malvins students, maybe the most talented of them all. Now he is wasted, and Malvin must drive him home. In the plinth apartment where he lives, the students show Malvin something that he has made: a delicate shimmering slime.
At home Lise is waiting. She and Malvin has been married for many years, and the number of things he has started lying to her about seems to be growing.
