Petra and her mum invite people over for a Christmas party. Grandpa and Esther are attending, as are Karsten and his family. They have a fun day with games, magic tricks, Christmas food and Christmas cakes. Karsten and Petra even have time to take a trip into space while they play in the bedroom. They also get to come along when the children next door go caroling. Not to mention that there is also a sleepover, and the next day the children smash the gingerbread house in Petra’s room.
The popular series about Karsten and Petra began in 1992 and is still popular with new generations. The themes in the series revolve around friendship and play and the books are lovely, short stories with topics that engage all children of kindergarden age. The last few years a lot of children have also gotten to know Karsten and Petra and their stuffed animals through the many films and TV show adaptations that have been created.
