Overview Karsten og Petra: Karsten skal flytte

One day while they’re having dinner, Dad says he and Mum have something to tell Karsten and his big sister Siri.

‘We need to find another place to live,’ he says.

‘Huh?’ says Karsten. ‘Are we moving house?’

Karsten has difficulties sleeping – he wants everything to be the same as usual! The family spends a lot of time looking for a new place – they’d rather not move too far. And one day they find the perfect flat!

When they have to pack all their stuff, there are loads of boxes and strange, empty rooms. Karsten and Petra visit the new flat, where they look at their new room and the new back garden. Maybe it won’t be so bad after all!

The popular book series about Karsten and Petra started in 1991 and brand-new stories about the two good friends continue to come. The topics in the series revolve around friendship and play, and they are nice short stories, whose themes will resonate with all children of kindergarten age.
In recent years, a lot of children have got to know Karsten and Petra and their stuffed toys through the films and TV series about them.
