In Knitting from Norway, Nina Granund Sæther has tracked down knitted garments from all across Norway. She has sought inspiration from old, sometimes worn hand-me-downs, amateur photography and exciting museum collections. So you don’t just get patterns but a little story to accompany every pattern, too. The book’s project is large in scope. You can enjoy Nina’s lovely, user-friendly shawls, gorgeous, warm mittens and socks, sweaters and jackets for both men and women and, of course, there are a few hats thrown in. This is user-friendly clothing in beautiful shades.

Making something for yourself is a pleasure that never goes out of fashion. These are also items that can be handed down, creating new history. And what’s more, this is sustainable clothing, knitted using locally sourced wool and imbued with living, cultural traditions.
