Overview Norsk strikkedesign

Norwegian Knitwear Design is a truly fabulous knitting book, featuring patterns for wonderful garments from six of our most popular knitwear designers.

Arne & Carlos contribute with a beautiful and modern ladies sweater, inspired by the classic ski-sweaters of the 1950s. Linda Marveng has made an elegant and trendy sweater with a wonderfully striking braid, and a matching hat and scarf. Among Bente Presterud's contributions you'll find a mens sweater, inspired by traditional patterns, which is exciting, and uses a totally modern choice of colors. From Iselin Hafseld you get an extraordinary and unique ladies sweater with a pattern that is graphic, but nevertheless based on traditional Norwegian patterns. One of Kari Hestnes's contributions is a very special dress for weddings or parties, summery and flirtatious, and perfect for large or small occasions. Birger Berge has, in addition to a modern and beautiful mens sweater, created a pattern for his-and hers mittens inspired by Western Norway's traditional animal motifs.

It's not hard to find at least one must-have item in the book!

Arne Nerjordet (Norwegian) and Carlos Zachrison (part Swede, part Spaniard) presented their first joint fashion collection in 2002 and, in 2003, they were invited to the Paris fashion week to show their designs. The inspiration for their feminine clothes comes from many sources – from Dolly Parton to Japanese pleating techniques and traditional Norwegian dresses.
