Overview Harehjerte

An impactful picture book about separation anxiety and being scared.

Some people are scared of the dark. Some are scared of snakes and spiders, or clowns and goblins with beards. Some are scared of cramped rooms and that the lift will get stuck. Others are scared of large, hairy dogs on the side of the road. Caro is scared that mum will leave. Because when mum leaves, her rabbit heart begins to pound. Everyone is scared of something, grandma says. And those who are scared, are also brave. But Caro’s rabbit heart is pounding faster and faster, so fast that Caro can hardly breathe. Caro can’t think, she can’t speak, she can only kick and cry and shriek and hit! Caro must listen to her rabbit heart.

Rabbit Heart is an important and clever picture book from Gro Dahle, beautifully illustrated by Kaia Dahle Nyhus.
