Helene Imislund’s poetry follows a child through the first hazy memories of a room. The poems move through the concrete and the experienced, between rooms that once were and places that still exist. And when the rooms are explored specifically, the question of memory also arises – which rooms are we able to remember? Is it possible to remember an event without remembering the room where it took place?
