In 2022 Sylvi is at a cabin in Rogaland with two friends, when an external danger suddenly threatens them. What should Sylvi do? Can she learn something from Solveig and Ragnhild’s stories? What does it mean to stand up for what you believe in and fight for what matters?
The Shield-Maiden Trilogy is an experimental novel which plays with timelines and narrators. The novel asks what kind of internal strength is required when one needs to mobilise to resist external enemies.
