Lotta is 11 and lives on Gruveland Island with her mum. Every weekend, she takes the ferry over to Stavanger to stay with her dad. Her big brother Nils has moved out and hardly ever comes to visit. What Lotta wants most of all is for everything to be the way it was before, but then she finds out that Dad’s chatting with Margrete from work on an app he has on his phone.

Kamilla Staurland has written a lovely, funny tale about Lotta, who’s a bit childish and a bit grown-up, who thinks it’s boring to sit still, and who can’t quite work out where she stands either with the kids her own age or her family.
