Tøffe turer i Norge follows on from the successful series Turer med trøkk, but this time we stay in Norway.
12 authors describe their dream tours – on foot, on horseback, with dog teams, ski, kayak, canoe or climbing rope. Every part of Norway is represented, from the moors of Sørlandet in the south to Finnmark in the furthest north. Some waded rivers from source to outflow, and others followed the coast in a sea kayak. Some have crossed right over Norway, at different places and in different directions. One family travelled by dog team to a simple hut on the Finnmark plateau to experience something quite different. Known and unknown mountains are trod by people who have done this sort of thing before.
The book is richly illustrated and includes simple maps.
