Turbo Twins Robert and Harald have to move from the big city to the countryside, because their mother gets a whim and needs more space for her thoughts. The house they’re moving to is run down, has an outdoor toilet and the whole area smells like cow dung. The Turbo Twins look forward to starting a new school, but already on their first day it turns out the entire school and everyone in the village is completely obsessed with one single ting: DODGEBALL. In addition to this, the twins end up in the same class as the school bully and dodgeball state champion, Sølvi. Sølvi challenges the twins to create their own dodgeball team and sign up for the big tournament that takes place every year.
But who should be on their team? What happened to the new boy in their class who disappeared without a trace after the last tournament? And how in the world do you even play dodgeball?
The Turbo Twins and the Great Dodgeball Battle is hysterically funny and heart-warming story about being a good brother, a good friend, and a good person.
«One of the most fast-paced and fun books of 2022.»
VG, FIVE/SIX STARS
«It's obvious that the authors have wished to write an easily read, plot-driven story. The 34 chapters contain few dead points, and the text is tightly composed with the preparations for the Dodgeball Battle as the red thread. The story is full of dialogues in an oral language that flows well, and the end of each chapter contains small cliffhangers that makes me curious as to what will happen next.»
