NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation) has chosen GRØT as the best cookbook of the year, in firece competition with four other cookbooks.
The jury says:
Svein Erik Renaa: This is an incredibly varied cookbook, with many new recipes for porridge - with a bit of modern days and a bit of history. It is fun to see as many as 76 recipes on the same theme. The pictures are also very tempting. To me this is a textbook. I do not know much about porridge, and this book contains a number of recipes I would want to make at home.
Stig Juelsen: You want to make porridge when you see this book. It is so lovely to see that porridge can be more than rice pudding and oatmeal. This is a great inspiration to make something other than your every dag oatmeal with cinnamon and sugar.
