Gro Furrevik has a background as a journalist in TV, newspapers and magazines, and works as a communications advisor in the Armed Forces. She attended Cappelen Damm's Crime Writing School, and makes her debut with the crime novel The Blackbird's Song, where war trauma and a gloomy western atmosphere set the framework.
