This book has a great concept: Recipes for dinners for one person, along with a shopping list for the whole week. The book covers 15 weeks with four meals per week, and at the back of the book you can find recipes for smaller dishes like soups, salads, breakfast/lunch, smoothies and baked goods. The shopping list is written so you should only have to shop once a week to get everything you need – and also so you can avoid wasting any leftovers. The book is very clear, with a table of contents that lays things out week by week and two recipe indexes at the back of the book: one sorted alphabetically and one sorted by theme/category. All of the dishes seem feasible to make, you’ll want to cook for yourself, and it’s easy to follow the recipes. This book hits the nail on the head with its concept!
