Benny and the Christmas Calamity is an uproarious and heartwarming story about yearning for the traditions of Christmases past, doing whatever it takes to preserve those traditions at any cost, whilst simultaneously navigating the rollercoaster that is tween life.
Nobody loves Christmas more than Benny. Traditional Christmas, that is. The way it’s always been. So, imagine his surprise when his parents announce, only two days before Christmas, that the family will be celebrating Christmas in the Canary Islands this year! And what’s worse: they’ll be traveling – and celebrating Christmas (!) – with friends of the family and their son, Ken.
Benny’s clueless about a lot of things, but of this he is certain: there is no way he’ll be spending Christmas at the beach, strutting about in a Speedo alongside Ken with his supermodel smile, gorgeous hair, and his ability to reduce Benny to a blubbering mess just by looking at him.
This calamity only has one remedy: The trip must be stopped – Benny must go berserk.
