Overview Den siste valkyrie

How far would you go to save the one you love most?

Set in modern-day Oslo, The Last Valkyrie is a pulse-pounding mix of enemies-to-lovers romance, Norse mythology and a deadly competition for wealth, fame, life and death.

Every girl in Oslo who turns 18 this year is invited to compete in the mysterious competition The Valkyrie. The prize is 3 million kroner, a sum that for Ava would change everything.

But joining the contest means declaring war on her powerful stepfamily — the ambitious twins Kamilla and Lukas. Their mother, Helene Threshow-Spilberg, is amongst Norway's wealthiest, and the twins are known to be ruthless in order to get what they want. When the twins also teams up with a stranger, someone whose connection to The Valkyrie runs deeper than he will admit. And he will stop at nothing to keep Ava out of the competition.

As the competition unfolds, Ava realises The Valkyrie is more than a contest. It’s a divine trial that could awaken forces older than time itself. To survive, she must solve the riddles of the Norse gods, uncover who her true allies are, and face the terrifying possibility that not all myths are fiction.

With the emotional depth of Twilight, the fierce survival energy of The Hunger Games and the secretive intrigue of The Da Vinci Code, The Last Valkyrie launches a new YA trilogy where epic love collides with Norse legend — blazing with mystery, passion, and power.
