Mikkel and his family are looking forward to celebrating Christmas in great-aunt’s old, abandoned house in the countryside. But the house isn’t as empty as they thought.

A family of mice is already well underway with their Christmas preparations and soon, the peaceful pre-Christmas days turns into a chaotic, glue-filled, and hysterical battle over who really has the right to celebrate Christmas in the house.

Luckily, Mikkel has already had time to talk to and grow fond of little Lea Mouse. Now it’s up to the two of them to make sure that both families, the old Christmas tree star, and the house itself survive the season and that everyone gets the unforgettable Christmas they deserve.
