Karen Margrete Kilane (b. 1980) is a trained journalist and educator, and has worked extensively with educational materials and communication for children. When she isn't working as the editor of the Strømme Foundation's magazine, she writes fun children's books. Kilane is the creator behind the critically acclaimed series about the von Humbug family, which is vibrantly and humorously illustrated by Hans Jørgen Sandnes.
