Hulda and Hannemone are a wood nymph and a mermaid. One lives in the forest and one in the sea. Once a year, they set a table for a party where they plan to find a husband. For wood nymphs, these are timbermen. For mermaids, it's sailors. But neither Hulda nor Hannemone can find someone suitable. Their desire for adventure is undeniable and they go out into the world, where they find each other.
With colorful and flowery lines, in Jenny Jordahl's debut book she draws a world in which you can ask questions about the established and biased in a humorous and wise way.
