Overview Hannemone og Hulda

Hulda is a wood nymph, and Hannemone is a mermaid. One lives in the forest and one in the sea. Once a year, under the full moon, both nymphs and mermaids each have huge celebrations where they hope to fall in love and find a boyfriend. For wood nymphs, these are timbermen. For mermaids, it's sailors. But neither Hulda nor Hannemone can fall in love. They both wish for adventure, and search all through the woods and the sea for someone to love. As Hulda reaches the edge of the woods and Hannemone the edge of the sea, they finally meet each other. With colourful and vibrant illustrations, Jenny Jordahl renders a world where you can ask questions the established and biased norms, with humour and wisdom.
