A picture book that shows that adventure can be just around the corner if you take the time to look around you! Bengt throws himself into an adventure and looks after all the things that he finds on the way, just like the Ash lad in folk tales. He uses those things to make his way further along on his exploration. He finds the skipping rope perfect for tying around the shark's mouth, whilst the fish get bread and the lion gets fish. In the end, Bengt finds a teddy bear and hurries back the way he came. He falls asleep in his bed – the whole adventure took place in his own back garden! Anne Fiske plays imaginatively with both words and pictures as successfully as ever.
‘A picture book about how adventure can be found very close at hand. All you need to do is look around you. Leif throws himself into his adventure, looking after things he finds along the way – just like the Ash Lad of Norwegian folk tales.’

‘Her kommer jeg! is aimed at children aged four to eight years old, but the story and the funny, clear drawings also let older readers be delighted by the unpredictable world of imagination. Here everything is allowed, anything can happen, and it really does.’
