Overview Mikroeventyr

Adventure. What is it really?

To walk across Greenland once in the course of your life? To climb mountains in distant lands, cross poles and deserts and paddle dangerous rivers in uninhabited wastelands?

Yes. It can be that. But many adventures can also be found right outside your doorstep. They are inexpensive and readily accessible for everybody. We call them mini-adventures.

A mini-adventure is a trip of one to three days, based on an imaginative (and often rather crazy) idea which is planned and carried out as an expedition. Nearby. Simple. Exciting.

Marius Nergård Pettersen and Mikkel Soya Bølstad set out on the hunt for adventures nearby. They paddle rivers on an airbed, go on a trip between two working days wearing formal suits, carrying everything they need in a briefcase. They buy equipment at a flea market, take a canoe tour of Oslo, follow a district boundary closely, sleep overnight in caves, swim to parties and live for two days on what they can find in the woods. And much more.

No project is too strange as they stretch the traditional boundaries of life in the great outdoors and find big adventures in little expeditions, just across the doorstep.
