But the King is sceptical. Finding the perfect Christmas tree isn’t a job for just anyone. And this year, it’s especially important that the tree is EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA perfect, so he doesn’t become a laughing stock for the second year in a row. Last year’s tree was so crooked it ended up on YouTube!

“Knight Bang and I shall find the best Christmas tree in the world!” says Sir Rosenbush.
“Trust us!” says Sir Bang.

So off they go, with a toboggan and a saw, up the steep hill and into the forest. Where something, perhaps the howling of wolves, can be heard in the night…

Nora Brech (b, 1988) is an author and illustrator. She's studies at Einar Granum School of Art and has a bachelor's degree in Art direction from Westerdals. She made her author debut 2017, and has since created several critically acclaimed picture books. With her colourful and distinctive illustrations, she has also made her mark on other people's stories, including Ingeborg Arvola's award-winning series about Buffy By. In 2022, she re-illustrated André Bjerke's classic Morovers.
