At the midnight market in the Royal Park they meet Bhurai, who tells them that the key protects the Floral, an ancient and intensely magical object. If the power of the Floral is let loose, it could have catastrophic consequences. Tyri and Peter must move down into the underground city as they chase the magical Floral.
The final book in this trilogy, The Swamp Queen, will be published in 2024.

Luis Guaragna is a well-known and talented graphic novel illustrator with an international career. In The Underground City series he wishes to combine his own Italian-Argentinian background with the Norwegian world of fiction. Both his illustrations and characters are rich with traces of folkloric traditions – emphasising that the population of the Underground City is just as diverse as those of us who live above ground.
