Markus Lohne Hustad (b. 1988) has worked with sustainable agriculture in the Norwegian Farmers' and Small Farmers' Association, Organic Norway and Framtiden i våre hender (The Future in Our Hands), and as a gardener in Tveten Andelslandbruk in Tveita. He is educated at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and the University of Innlandet, and grew up in Hønefoss. He is a beekeeper in his seventh season.
