Sigurd Falkenberg Mikkelsen (1975–) is a foreign correspondent for NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation). He worked in Iraq after the invasion by the USA and its allies, and has also covered the warfare between Israel and Hizbollah in 2006. From 2011 to 2016 he was based in Kario, and covered the entire Middle East for NRK. Mikkelsen has filmed two documentaries. His academic education was completed at Institut d`Etudes Politiques de Paris.
