Overview Hemmelige liv

Odd Klippenvåg is one of Norway's most important writers of the short story. His first collection, No phoenix, was first published in 1979. In many ways is the Phoenix, this mystical bird that raises from its own ashes, a good metaphor for Klippenvågs short story authorship: The genre is the same and some themes are recurring, but the short stories are new and fresh, without giving the feeling of having read them before—rather the contrary.

Secret lives is a collection of Klippenvåg’s very best short stories thus far.

Seint, men godt: Tida arbeider for Odd Klippenvågs forfattarskap. 01.07.2022

«Odd Klippenvåg høyrer heime i ei eksklusiv samling av nordnorske novellistar der Cora Sandel tronar øvst, følgd av Laila Stien og Ingeborg Arvola. Det er kvalitet tvers igjennom.»
